SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- You must have Windows XP Professional or Windows Server 2000 or higher.
- IIS must be installed
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or higher must be installed (download and install SQL 2005 Express for Free from www.microsoft.com)

INSTALLATION
Here is a summary of the steps required to install AppWizard.  Please download and read the full installtion guide
 for full installation instructions.

Step 1: Install IIS (Microsoft Internet Information Server). If you are going to use the e-mail feature, also ensure that SMTP 
  is installed.  If IIS is installed, the C:\InetPub folder will be present.

Step 2: Your server must have a static IP address for other computers to access it. For a DEMO installation this is not
  required.

Step 3: Create the Script virtual directory by adding the folder C:\InetPub\Scripts if it doesn't exist, and using Internet
  Services Manager to add the Scripts virtual directory to you default web site.

Step 4: Remove Guest access from your default web site. You can restore this later once AppWizard is registered using 
  an Online registration key.

Step 5: Ensure Microsoft SQL server 2000 or later is installed wit SQL Authenticaion mode activated. The sa user must have a password.
  If you are installing MSDE2000, use the AppWizMSDE.bat file in the Database folder.

Step 6: Create the AppWizard database by running the Create.bat file in the Database folder of the AppWizard CD.

Step 7: Set up a System DSN in ODBC setup to point to your SQL database. The data source name must be AppWizard,
  use the SQL authentication and for the MSDE installation use username: sa and password: sa

Step 8: Copy the files in the AppWizard CD's wwwroot and scripts folders into the wwwroot and scripts folder in C:\inetpub

Step 9: Open Internet Explorer and point it to the server (use LocalHost if it is on the machine you are using).

Step 10: Log in as Administrator (password: admin), and register your user name.  Add Admin group access for the 
  user.
